Wasn't sure about the purchase after reading some of the reviews about the magnet sleep/wake feature not working with the iPad 3. This feature wasn't a deal breaker for me and the price was right. I am pleased to say the manufacturer has addressed this issue. I have a brand new iPad 3 and the sleep function works very well. The magnet works well and the stand works fine as long as it is properly folded. Additionally the pad snaps well into the hard case back. The quality is good and for the price it really is worth the purchase. The slightest touch makes my new iPad click on and off rapidly. If I picked the iPad up from the table, it clicks on/off. Walking around holding the iPad and cover in my palm, it clicks on/off. The magnet sleep/wake feature works great with the new iPad but the magnet is not so secure that when you flip the case upside down, it stays connected to the iPad. Instead, it flops open. A minor detail but thought it should be noted. The iPad snapped in really nicely and doesn't look capable of falling out anytime soon. It does make it difficult to take the iPad out but again that is another minor detail.All in all, the case really compliments the iPad and doesn't bulk it up. The leatherette is good material for grip and feels sturdy. However, leatherette makes dents and bumps on the case quite obvious as I have already accumulated a dent on the cover of my case and it is hard to miss.
